Barriers
When absorbers cannot reduce all the noise, barriers are needed to block the sound. Flexible mass loaded vinyl prevents sound from traveling through our soundproofing.

Damping
Vibrations make noise by resonating through structures, creating secondary noise sources other than the origin of the vibration. Damping materials lessen this noise by turning the vibration into a low-grade heat.

Isolation
Isolation materials keep vibrating parts separate from the rest of the structure, so the noise is contained to an acceptable level.
