President & CEO
Tyler Keeley holds a Bachelors degree in Economics and has completed extensive post-graduate work. Tyler joined Technicon in 1989 after working for several years with a major Wall Street investment firm. Over the years his experience has included production and process engineering, product development, operations management, corporate finance, and sales. He has worked with companies in the automotive, marine, heavy equipment, power generation, medical, and air handling sectors. This extensive experience provides Technicon with a wealth of real world practical application guidance, which allows us to provide technically excellent and value conscious solutions to our customers. Tyler is currently the President and CEO of Technicon Industries.
Executive VP
Mark is currently Executive Vice President responsible for Sales and Finance. Mark joined Technicon as CFO in May 2001. Mark has over 28 years of experience in finance, accounting, and operations and has held a variety of senior management positions at companies including Goodyear, Genstar, Tab Products, Cybor Corporation, and Niagara Corporation. Mark holds a BBA from Stetson University and obtained his CPA license in California and Florida.
VP Operations
Joan Benner holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration and is currently an accomplished manager with Technicon Industries. Joan joined Technicon in 1991 after 6 years of sales experience in the transportation industry. Over the past 12 years she has taken on additional responsibilities in customer service, material control, procurement, planning, and operations. Joan is currently Vice President of Operations, responsible for most daily aspects of Technicon's operations.
Technical Director
John received a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Marquette University. John conducted cooperative research with numerous underground and surface mining companies while working for the U.S. Government Bureau of Mines Research Lab. At Lear Corporation, John has tested products for or worked on noise related issues for a large number of car programs. At acoustic consulting firm Orfield Laboratories, John was a senior consultant conducting projects on acoustic materials, hearing aids, environmental noise, product noise and architectural acoustics. John has taught workshops on Sound Quality, Noise Control, Acoustic Materials and Architectural Acoustics. In addition, he has authored over a dozen government publications, conference papers and journal articles in whole body vibration, off-road equipment vibrations, adaptive noise cancellation, sound quality, ray tracing for mobile audio design and vehicle interior component acoustic performance. John is Technicon's Technical Director. At Technicon, John is responsible for product development, product testing and rating, customer diagnostics and solutions.
Sales Engineer
Scott joined Technicon in June 1997 after obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from UNCC. Scott started as a Process Engineer focused on product and process improvement. Since that time Scott has taken on other areas of responsibility such as cost estimating, inside and outside sales. In his current position as a Sales Engineer, his years of experience and knowledge of Technicon’s product and process capabilities allow him to make recommendations based on our customer’s specific needs.
Plant Manager
James Woods attained his Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University in 2001. James began his career in the Power Transmission Industry as a manufacturing engineer focusing on lean manufacturing development, quality initiatives, and process improvement. In January of 2004 he took a one year assignment in San Luis Potosi, Mexico successfully transitioning the relocation of a domestic plant. James then accepted a position as Lean Manufacturing Manager with a large fencing company in North Carolina. In July of 2006 James joined the Technicon team and is currently the Plant Manager for the facility.
Purchasing Manager
James has been with Technicon since its formation in 1980. Prior to his career with Technicon James worked in warehouse management and receiving with Boise Cascade. He has been involved with all aspects of materials and material control throughout his career with Technicon including warehouse management, receiving control, inventory control, logistics, and purchasing. James 17 years of procurement experience makes him a valuable asset to the Technicon team.
Quality Manager
Tresea joined Technicon in 1998 as Quality Manager from Lydall Corporation where she held a similar position for 6 years. She spearheaded Technicon's successful QS 9000 registration efforts, a project she also was involved with in her former position. Tresea is familiar with multiple quality systems including: QS 9000, ISO 9000, Ford Q1, GMP and others. She is a qualified QS 9000 auditor as well as having received certification in Advanced Quality Production Planning (APQP) and Production part Approval Process (PPAP). Tresea has undergone extensive process improvement and statistical process control training. She has primary responsibility for Technicon's Quality System and Continuous Improvement Program. Tresea is a key member of Technicon's management team.
